Research Questions
Danielle McCleery and I are researching why consumers are willing to spend more money for their meat at Whole Foods markets. Neither Danielle or myself have ever been to a Whole Foods market so we wanted to know why some believe that the quality of meat is better at Whole Foods. We also wanted to know how informative the butcher's are at Whole Foods markets.
Ten possible research questions:
1. Why are consumers willing to spend more money on their meat at Whole Foods markets?
2. What is it about Whole Foods that is so intriguing?
3. Is the meat at Whole Foods really better for you?
4. Does the butcher at Whole Foods know where the meat comes from? (Living conditions/handling/transportation?etc.)
5. Why does Whole Foods supply mainly organic food?
6. What value does Whole Foods hold that makes it different from the "normal supermarket"?
7. What do butchers at other markets know about the meat and where it comes from?
